ZeusSEO Gaia is a good Whitespark alternative if your main job is running Google Business Profiles for many locations: posts, review replies, photos and profile edits from one dashboard, sold as one pack with a free trial. Whitespark is the better pick if you need citation research or building, rank tracking, local ranking grids, review requests by email or SMS, or white-label share links. It sells those as separate products with public prices. Gaia covers Google Business Profile only, does not build citations and does not track rankings. In short: choose Gaia for daily Google profile work in one place, and choose Whitespark when your work centers on citations, rankings and review generation and you are happy to buy several tools.
Whitespark alternative: Gaia vs Whitespark at a glance
These two tools overlap on Google Business Profile, but they are built differently. Whitespark is a set of separate local SEO products plus done-for-you services. Gaia is one Google Business Profile management tool that goes deep on a single platform.

How we compared
We are the team behind ZeusSEO, so we are biased, and you should check our sources. We read Whitespark's official pages on October 21, 2026 and paraphrased what they say. Every Whitespark claim below links to the page it came from.
ZeusSEO facts come from our own product. We did not run side-by-side tests, and we do not show test results or customer stories on this page, because we have none to cite.
Whitespark's help center and a few service pages were not read in full, so we left out anything we could not confirm. Where Whitespark does not publish something on the pages we read, we say "not published". It may exist; ask Whitespark. Whitespark's prices change over time, so confirm them on its pricing page before you decide.
Gaia vs Whitespark, feature by feature
On day-to-day Google Business Profile work such as posts, photos and scheduling, Gaia is built around it. On citations, rank tracking, grids and review requests, Whitespark covers ground that Gaia does not.
Google Business Profile posts
In Gaia you can publish a post now or schedule it, edit queued posts, cancel, trash and restore them. Post types include Updates, Offers, Events and Alerts. You can copy a post to many locations, with an optional AI rewrite per location that uses Staters, our AI credits.
- Bulk import. Load posts from a CSV or TXT file, then schedule them.
- Recurring campaigns. Set a cadence and the posts run on schedule.
- Calendar. See scheduled posts and photos across listings in month, timeline, board or list views.
- Republish. Bulk republish posts that Google no longer shows.
Whitespark's Local Platform page describes profile management, but it does not mention publishing or scheduling Google posts, and the help center's top article is about enabling GBP management for a location. If posting is your main need, ask Whitespark directly.
Profile management at scale
Gaia edits the fields that matter on a Google profile for many locations at once, either now or on a future effective date:
- Name, website, phone numbers, description, categories and hours, including special hours.
- Attributes, services, place-action links and social links.
- Photos uploaded to many listings now or scheduled for later.
- One issue fixed across many profiles, profile details cloned to many locations, saved location templates, and new locations created.
- Location groups, with an audit trail of every live write.
Whitespark's Local Platform says you can make bulk edits to hours, description, categories, services and phone, get email alerts when a profile changes, and reject unwanted Google updates with one click, including in bulk. It also lists change history by you, Google or other managers, and support for service-area businesses.
Local Platform can reject unwanted changes that Google makes to a profile and shows who changed what, including Google itself. Gaia logs every live write made through ZeusSEO, but we do not claim to track edits made by Google or other managers. If watching for unwanted profile changes is a priority, look closely at Whitespark.
Review management
Gaia shows reviews for all locations in one feed. You can reply, edit a reply or delete a reply. AI drafts a reply in the client's voice, and you approve it before it posts; drafting uses Staters. Reviews labelled as spam are blocked unless you force them, and replies that fail go to a Queued tab and retry daily.
Whitespark handles reviews in Reputation Builder, a separate product. It sends automated review requests by email or SMS, can collect NPS scores and testimonials, monitors more than 100 review sites, and lets you reply from the dashboard, with direct replies on Google and Facebook. Whitespark also offers free tools such as a Review Checker and a Google Review Link Generator.
Gaia does not send review requests and handles Google reviews only. It gives you the Google review link for each listing. If you want to generate more reviews or watch non-Google sites, Whitespark is the stronger fit.
Citations and listings
Whitespark's Local Citation Finder is a research and audit tool: it analyzes competitor citations, tracks citation growth on paid plans, and exports to CSV and PDF. Its Listings Service is a done-for-you service that builds and cleans up citations, including manual discovery of name, address and phone variations. It is sold as one-time fees rather than a recurring listings subscription.
Gaia does not do citation building or directory syndication. It does not manage Apple, Bing or Yelp listings. It manages Google Business Profile and nothing else. If citations are your requirement, Gaia is not a replacement.
Rank tracking and local grids
Whitespark sells Local Rank Tracker, which separates local pack, local finder and organic results, and Local Ranking Grids, a separate credit-based product with 4 to 225 grid points per scan. Gaia has no rank tracking or grid scans available to customers today.
Reporting
Gaia's dashboard shows rating, review count, status, Search and Maps views, calls, website clicks and directions for each location. Client-facing reports are built in Daedalus, our reporting product, which is separate from Gaia.
Whitespark's reporting lives inside each product: email updates and CSV or PDF exports from Rank Tracker, a shareable results link that needs no account, grid exports, and Citation Finder exports. We found no unified dashboard or client portal across its products.
AI and the Claude connector
ZeusSEO has a connector that works with Claude, so you can ask your own Claude chat to publish a post, schedule one, draft a reply or read your Google data. The connector has about 200 tools covering profiles, posts, reviews, photos, groups, Search Console, Google Analytics, reports and keywords. It is free on every plan and pack, and the chat runs on your own Claude subscription. A few tools that call live research or spend AI credits state their cost before they run.
Whitespark's Ranking Grids page says you can connect AI tools through MCP, alongside a public API with documentation. That is the only AI feature we found on the pages we read.
Pricing and free trial
Both companies publish prices. Whitespark's entry prices are low, but a full stack means several separate subscriptions. ZeusSEO sells Gaia inside one pack with a free trial on every pack.
See current ZeusSEO prices on the pricing page. Gaia sits in the Local SEO Pack, which includes 50 locations, 3 sites and 5 seats. AI actions such as drafting replies spend Staters, which you buy separately as one-time packs. The packs themselves include no Staters.
Whitespark's pricing page lists each product separately, in US dollars, as of October 21, 2026:
- Local Platform: $1 per month per location, billed annually (Local Platform).
- Local Rank Tracker: plans from $14 to $200 a month, with weekly tracking on the lower plans and daily tracking costing more (Rank Tracker).
- Local Ranking Grids: credit based, starting at $10 for 2,000 credits, with unused credits expiring after each billing period (Ranking Grids).
- Local Citation Finder: plans from $33 to $149 a month (Citation Finder).
- Reputation Builder: $79 per month per location, with custom pricing for multiple locations (Reputation Builder).
- Listings Service: one-time fees per location, for example $399 for a Yext replacement (Listings Service).
Trials differ by product. Whitespark's pages describe a two-week free trial for Rank Tracker and for Reputation Builder, the latter limited to ten locations. Ranking Grids offers two hundred trial credits with no credit card. Citation Finder has a free starter with one campaign and three searches a day. We found no trial stated for Local Platform.
Agencies and white label
This is a real gap on our side. Whitespark offers white-label options on several products: Rank Tracker supports shareable white-label links with password protection and a custom domain for agencies, Ranking Grids offers white-label shareable URLs, and Citation Finder offers white-label export on its Agency plans and higher. Whether these cost extra is not stated on the pages we read. White label for Local Platform and Reputation Builder is not published.
White label is not part of Gaia. Client reporting is a separate Reports Package, so see the Daedalus page if client-facing reports matter to you.
ZeusSEO is designed with agencies in mind: location groups, client groups, bulk actions and a Claude connector that works across all of them. Whitespark's pages describe Rank Tracker and Grids as unlimited in domains and locations and let you group businesses by client, region or account manager. User seats, team permissions and client logins are not published on the pages we read.
Which one should you pick?
Choose by the job. Google Business Profile work at scale in one tool: Gaia. Citations, rank tracking, grids and review requests, bought product by product: Whitespark.
Choose Gaia if
- Your clients win or lose on Google Business Profile and Google Maps.
- You want to schedule posts, reply to reviews and edit profile details for many locations from one place.
- You want one pack and a free trial rather than several subscriptions.
- You want to run your Google work through Claude.
Choose Whitespark if
- You need citation research, citation cleanup or a done-for-you listings service.
- You need local rank tracking or ranking grids.
- You want automated review requests by email or SMS and review monitoring across more than 100 sites.
- You need white-label share links or exports for clients today.
- You want to start with low, published entry prices on one product at a time.
Many teams will use both: Whitespark for citations and rankings, and a profile management tool for daily Google work. If you do, decide which tool owns each profile field, because both can write to the same Google profile. If you are weighing more options, see how BrightLocal, Whitespark and Gaia compare.
Switching from Whitespark to Gaia
There is no one-click migration, and we do not claim one. Because Whitespark is a set of separate products, you may only replace part of what you use. A cautious path looks like this:
- List which Whitespark products you use. Local Platform, Reputation Builder, Rank Tracker, Ranking Grids and Citation Finder are billed separately, so check each renewal date.
- Decide what Gaia replaces. Gaia covers Google profile management and Google review replies. It does not replace citation tools, rank tracking, grids or review requests.
- Record your current profile data. Export hours, categories, phones and descriptions so you have a reference.
- Connect your Google profiles to Gaia. Start a free trial and bring in a small group of locations first.
- Keep the tools Gaia does not replace. Keep your citation, rank and review-request tools running until you have chosen alternatives.
