ZeusSEO Gaia is a good Yext alternative if your job is managing Google Business Profiles for many locations: posts, review replies, photos and profile edits from one dashboard, with published pricing and a free trial. Yext is the better pick if you need a large publisher network (it lists 200+ direct publisher connections), reviews from 80+ sites, or review requests by email, text and QR code. Gaia covers Google Business Profile only and does not build citations. Yext sells by custom quote and says it has no standard free trial. In short: an agency or in-house team focused on Google should look at Gaia first, and a brand that needs a presence across many sites and apps should look at Yext first.

How we compared
We are the team behind ZeusSEO, so we are biased, and you should check our sources. We read Yext's official pages on October 20, 2026 and paraphrased what they say. Every Yext claim below links to the page it came from.
ZeusSEO facts come from our own product. We did not run side-by-side tests, and we do not show test results or customer stories on this page, because we have none to cite.
Yext's help center pages could not be read during our research, so we left out details that appeared only in search-result summaries of those pages. Where Yext does not publish something on the pages we read, we say "not published". It may exist; ask Yext.
Gaia vs Yext, feature by feature
On Google Business Profile day-to-day work, Gaia is built around it. On everything outside Google, such as other publishers, other review sites and review requests, Yext covers ground that Gaia does not.
Google Business Profile posts
In Gaia you can publish a post now or schedule it, edit queued posts, cancel, trash and restore them. Post types include Updates, Offers, Events and Alerts. You can copy a post to many locations, with an optional AI rewrite per location that uses Staters, our AI credits.
- Bulk import. Load posts from a CSV or TXT file, then schedule them.
- Recurring campaigns. Set a cadence and the posts run on schedule.
- Calendar. See scheduled posts and photos across listings in month, timeline, board or list views.
- Republish. Bulk republish posts that Google no longer shows.
Yext's Social page says you can publish localized posts for promotions, events and offers across every location in seconds, with AI-drafted posts. The page does not name Google Business Profile posts explicitly, so check with Yext that your post types are supported on Google.
Review management
Gaia shows reviews for all locations in one feed. You can reply, edit a reply or delete a reply. AI drafts a reply in the client's voice, and you approve it before it posts; drafting uses Staters. Reviews labelled as spam are blocked unless you force them, and replies that fail go to a Queued tab and retry daily.
Yext's Reviews page describes monitoring across 80+ platforms, AI-drafted replies that a person approves, templates and rules, mobile replies in the Scout by Yext app, and sentiment analysis across locations. It also says it can push star ratings into Google Ads. Its Google integration page says you can respond to Google reviews directly from the platform.
Yext can ask customers for reviews by email, text or QR code, and it tracks reviews on 80+ platforms. Gaia handles Google reviews only and gives you Google's own review link for each listing. If getting more reviews is the main goal, or you need non-Google review sites in one view, Yext is the stronger fit.
Listings and publishers
This is the biggest difference. Yext says it has 200+ direct publisher connections, a Listings Verifier to find duplicates and publisher overwrites, and tracking of impressions, clicks, calls and directions by publisher and location. It also says it benchmarks how your brand is cited in AI-generated answers against local competitors.
Gaia does not do citation building or directory syndication. It does not manage Apple, Bing or Yelp listings. It manages Google Business Profile and nothing else. If publisher coverage is your requirement, Gaia is not a replacement.
Profile editing and bulk work
Gaia edits the fields that matter on a Google profile for many locations at once, either now or on a future effective date:
- Name, website, phone numbers, description, categories and hours, including special hours.
- Attributes, services, place-action links and social links.
- Photos uploaded to many listings now or scheduled for later.
- One issue fixed across many profiles, profile details cloned to many locations, saved location templates, and new locations created.
- Location groups, with an audit trail of every live write.
Yext says you can update 10,000+ locations at once across languages and regions on its Listings page. That claim covers its whole network, not Google alone. Yext also says its data syncs to Google in real time on its Google integration page.
Reporting
Gaia's dashboard shows rating, review count, status, Search and Maps views, calls, website clicks and directions for each location. Client-facing reports are built in Daedalus, our reporting product, which is separate from Gaia.
Yext reports listing performance by publisher and location, and its platform page says analytics unifies website, search, reviews and listings data. White-label or scheduled client reports for agencies are not published on the pages we read.
AI and the Claude connector
ZeusSEO has a connector that works with Claude, so you can ask your own Claude chat to publish a post, schedule one, draft a reply or read your Google data. The connector has about 200 tools covering profiles, posts, reviews, photos, groups, Search Console, Google Analytics, reports and keywords. It is free on every plan and pack, and the chat runs on your own Claude subscription. A few tools that call live research or spend AI credits state their cost before they run.
Yext says it has AI agents that monitor, respond to and solicit reviews, and a Knowledge Graph it calls an AI-ready source of truth. We found no Claude connector described on the Yext pages we read.
Pricing and free trial
ZeusSEO publishes its prices and offers a free trial on every pack. Yext does not publish prices and says it has no standard free trial. For a team that wants to test before it buys, that is a real difference.
See current ZeusSEO prices on the pricing page. Gaia sits in the Local SEO Pack, which includes 50 locations, 3 sites and 5 seats. AI actions such as drafting replies spend Staters, which you buy separately as one-time packs. The packs themselves include no Staters.
Yext's own FAQ says pricing is custom, with no single published price and no fixed public menu of tiers. It prices by bundled solution, and the price is a function of your location count, with the rate falling as volume grows. Billing is typically annual, and multi-year commitments earn better rates. It says there is no free tier and no standard free trial. Exact contract length and cancellation terms are not published on the pages we read.
Yext's FAQ also says its older self-serve small-business listings product, PowerListings, is no longer a focus of the business. If you remember an older price list for Yext, treat it as out of date and ask for a current quote.
Agencies and white label
Yext says agencies do not have a distinct pricing model. Resellers negotiate a unit price based on volume, and smaller businesses are pointed to resellers. Its reseller partner page describes a program for digital agencies, SEO providers and value-added resellers, with white-label options and the ability to manage many clients from one login. The page does not publish pricing, minimums or contract terms.
ZeusSEO is designed with agencies in mind: location groups, client groups, bulk actions and a Claude connector that works across all of them. White label is not part of Gaia. Client reporting is a separate Reports Package, so see the Daedalus page if client-facing reports matter to you.
Which one should you pick?
Choose by the job. Google Business Profile at scale, with clear pricing: Gaia. A wide publisher network and review generation: Yext.
Choose Gaia if
- Your clients win or lose on Google Business Profile and Google Maps.
- You want to schedule posts, reply to reviews and edit profile details for many locations from one place.
- You want to see prices and try the product before talking to anyone.
- You want to run your Google work through Claude.
Choose Yext if
- You need your business data pushed to a large network of publishers, not only Google.
- You need reviews from many sites and want to request reviews by email, text or QR code.
- You run a large multi-location brand and are comfortable with a custom quote and an annual term.
- You want AI citation benchmarking against local competitors, which Yext says it offers.
Some teams will use both: a listings platform for the wider network and a profile management tool for daily Google work. If you do, decide which tool owns each field, because both can write to the same Google profile.
Switching from Yext to Gaia
There is no one-click migration, and we do not claim one. A cautious path looks like this:
- Check your Yext term. Billing is typically annual, so find your renewal date before you plan the change.
- Record your current profile data. Export hours, categories, phones and descriptions from Yext and from Google so you have a reference.
- Connect your Google profiles to Gaia. Start a free trial and bring in a small group of locations first.
- Decide what happens to other publishers. Gaia will not keep Apple, Bing or Yelp listings up to date. Ask Yext what happens to those listings when you leave, because we did not find a published answer.
- Move the rest in stages. Once posts and replies run the way you want, expand to more groups.
