Talos — AI Technical SEO agent — autonomous Technical SEO for SEO agencies

Your autonomous AI technical SEO specialist — site crawls, issue detection, and fix preparation on autopilot.

Talos is the AI agent that takes ownership of the technical SEO lifecycle. He crawls your client's site, categorizes every issue by impact, queues fixes in the right workflow — Zephyr or Hestia — and tracks resolution to verify the work actually landed. Entire technical SEO sprints run autonomously from diagnosis to confirmation.

What Talos does on its own.

Autonomously crawls sites on a set cadence, detects and prioritizes technical SEO issues, routes them to the correct fix flow, and re-crawls to confirm resolution — managing the full audit-to-fix loop without manual coordination.

Workspace fit

Talos ships with the Organic SEO Pack alongside Calliope. He reads the shared crawl so no site is ever scanned twice, and he coordinates with Calliope when a technical issue has a content component — passing the brief automatically.

Your outputs, every cycle.

Talos AI Agent — FAQ

Everything you need to know about Talos before you start your free trial.

Talos is an autonomous AI agent that owns the technical SEO lifecycle for your client sites. He crawls sites on a schedule, categorizes every issue by impact, routes fixes to the correct workflow (Zephyr or Hestia), tracks resolution, and re-crawls to confirm the work landed.
Yes. Once you configure a crawl schedule for a client site, Talos executes each crawl automatically, categorizes findings, and queues the appropriate fixes without manual input. You review the queued fixes and approve or adjust — Talos handles the rest of the loop.
Impact-prioritized technical audits, auto-routed fixes to Zephyr or Hestia, verification re-crawls after each fix batch, structured issue reports per client, sprint planning recommendations based on crawl findings, and one-click handoff of data to Daedalus report widgets.
Talos detects a broad set of technical issues including broken links, missing or duplicate meta tags, missing alt text, schema errors, canonical problems, page speed signals, crawlability blocks (robots.txt, noindex), and more. The full list maps to what Argus surfaces in the Site Audit module.
Talos ships with the Organic SEO Pack alongside Calliope. He is not available as a standalone agent — the pack is the unit.
Talos detects, prioritizes, and routes fixes. For issues compatible with Zephyr (meta descriptions, titles, alt text, schema snippets), he queues the AI-generated fix for your approval. For issues that require hands-on changes (server config, CMS access, page speed work), he logs them in Hestia with clear instructions.
Each crawl and AI-generated fix consumes Staters from your monthly allowance. A standard crawl of a medium-size site and fix batch costs a few Staters total — specific pricing is shown in the Credits view before Talos runs a job. Viewing crawl results without triggering AI fixes is free.
Yes. Talos manages all connected sites across your workspace, running crawls on the cadence you set per client. Each site's audit data is kept isolated so reports and fix queues never mix between clients.
Yes. Talos passes thin-content findings to Calliope, which translates them into content briefs automatically. He also hands structured issue data to Helios for inclusion in Daedalus client reports. When a technical fix has a content angle, Talos and Calliope work in sequence without manual handoff.
The site crawl and issue detection (Argus) is live. Zephyr is live for meta, alt text, and title rewrites. Some fix types (schema injection, canonical fixes) are in active development and will show "coming soon" in the fix queue when they are not yet automated.
Talos runs a verification re-crawl after each fix batch and compares the before and after state. The fix is marked resolved only when the re-crawl confirms the issue is gone. If it persists, it stays in the open queue with a note.
Talos crawls any publicly accessible site regardless of CMS. For AI-generated fixes to be applied automatically, the site needs to be connected via the ZeusSEO CMS integration (currently in development). Until then, Talos provides the fix content and you apply it to your CMS manually.
