TL;DR

  • Pick Birdeye if you need reviews from many sites, review requests, a listings network beyond Google, webchat, or a suite for a large multi-location brand.

If you want a Birdeye alternative that focuses on Google Business Profile, ZeusSEO Gaia is built for that job: posts, review replies, photos and listing edits across many locations, with a public price list and a free trial on every pack. Birdeye is the better pick if you need reviews from many sites, review requests, listings on Apple, Yelp and Bing, webchat, or one suite for a large multi-location brand. Both can post to Google and reply to Google reviews. The difference is scope.

Key takeaway

Gaia is narrower and easier to price. Birdeye is wider and quoted per location. If Google Business Profile is most of your workload, Gaia covers it without paying for a full suite. If your clients need reviews, messaging and listings across many platforms, Birdeye covers more.

Pricing and what you can try for free

Key takeaway

Birdeye prices by quote, per location. ZeusSEO publishes its prices and sells packs with stated limits.

How Birdeye prices

Birdeye says its pricing is custom and evaluated per location, depends on the products you choose, and usually runs on annual agreements. Its pricing page asks you to fill in a form, including a location band from one to three up to more than one thousand. We found no dollar figures and no plan names on either page.

Birdeye also says the cost per location falls as you add locations. That is the vendor's claim, and we have not tested it.

How ZeusSEO prices

Gaia sits in the Local SEO Pack, which has stated limits of 50 locations, 3 sites and 5 seats. If you need more, extra locations, seats and sites are available as add-ons. Packs do not include AI credits: AI drafting spends Staters, our AI credits, which you buy separately in one-time packs that do not expire. See current prices on the pricing page.

Trying it first

ZeusSEO offers a free trial on every pack. For Birdeye, a trial is not published on its pricing page, which offers a demo instead. Birdeye's blog does show a "Try Social for free" button for its Social product, but we did not read its terms, so ask Birdeye what that covers.

Google posts, review replies and listings

Key takeaway

On Google posts and Google review replies the two are close. Birdeye pulls ahead once you need other review sites, review requests or other directories.

Posting to Google Business Profile

Birdeye's support documentation shows you can create Google Posts, Offers and Events from its Social tab once the profile is connected. Its social publishing agent can run on your cadence, with approval one by one, in bulk, or automatic publishing.

Gaia is built around the same job. You can publish now or schedule, edit queued posts, copy a post to many locations (with an optional AI rewrite per location), import posts from a CSV, and set recurring post campaigns. A calendar shows every scheduled post and photo across listings.

Replying to reviews

Birdeye gathers reviews from many sites in one place, and its AI response agent either posts replies itself or holds them for your approval.

In Gaia you see one review feed for all your Google locations. You can reply, edit or delete a reply, and ask for an AI draft that follows the client's saved voice. You approve the wording before it posts. Replies that fail to send are parked in a queue and retried daily. You can also post a reviewed list of replies in bulk from a CSV. We do not offer fully automatic AI replies.

Where Birdeye is stronger

Reviews, listings and messaging. Birdeye collects reviews beyond Google, can request reviews for you, manages listings on Apple, Yelp and Bing as well as Google (its listings page), and runs webchat into a shared inbox (webchat page). Gaia does none of these. It covers Google Business Profile only.

Listing edits

Birdeye describes a Google Business Profile management dashboard for all your locations, and its listings agent requires approval by default before changes go out. In Gaia you can edit name, hours, phones, description, categories, attributes and services, change one issue across many profiles at once, and copy profile details to other locations. Each live write is logged.

Reporting, AI and agency features

Key takeaway

Birdeye bundles reporting inside its suite and offers a reseller path. ZeusSEO splits reporting into its own pack and adds a free Claude connector.

Reporting

Birdeye's AI reporting agent builds multi-location reports from a single prompt and can schedule recurring delivery. Its agency-level reports cover setup, adoption and return on investment, with email and Excel download.

ZeusSEO's reporting lives in a separate product, Daedalus, sold as the Reports Package. It is a drag-and-drop report builder with live data from Google Business Profile, Google Analytics and Search Console. We do not offer paid-ads reporting. Check the pricing page for what each pack includes.

AI features and the Claude connector

Birdeye positions its platform as an agentic system with named AI agents for marketing, operations and customer experience. Its navigation also lists a Birdeye MCP item; we have not read its documentation, so we cannot say what it does.

ZeusSEO has a connector that works with Claude. It exposes about 200 tools covering Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, reports and clients. The connector is free on every plan and pack. Actions such as publishing or replying cost no Staters. A few tools that call paid data sources, or AI actions such as the post quality engine, do spend Staters, and each states the cost first. The chat itself runs on your own Claude subscription.

Agencies and white label

Birdeye runs a reseller program where you can white label the platform or co-brand it, with a dedicated partner success manager. It says it works with more than 750 partnered agencies, and it has a Partner Command Center for adoption and performance data. Reseller pricing and eligibility are not published.

ZeusSEO is built for agencies as direct users: client groups and bulk actions. White label is not part of Gaia, and we do not offer a custom-domain client portal.

Note

Birdeye describes itself as a platform for multi-location brands. It also has an agency path, but the two are not the same buyer. Ask which one your quote is built for.

Birdeye competitors worth comparing

If you are searching for Birdeye competitors, the right alternative depends on which part of Birdeye you actually use. We have written the other comparisons in this series:

Which one should you choose?

Key takeaway

Choose by scope. Google Business Profile work at a published price: Gaia. A full reputation and listings suite: Birdeye.

Choose ZeusSEO Gaia if

  • Your clients' main channel is Google Business Profile and you manage many locations.
  • You want to see prices and start with a free trial before talking to anyone.
  • You want AI drafts you approve, and you want to work from Claude through a free connector.

Choose Birdeye if

  • You need reviews from several sites and review requests sent for you.
  • You manage listings on Apple, Yelp, Bing and Facebook as well as Google.
  • You want webchat and a shared inbox, or a single suite for a large multi-location brand.

Switching

You do not have to move everything at once. If you need both, one option is to use Gaia for posts and replies and keep Birdeye for the pieces Gaia does not cover. Compare real quotes before you decide.

How we compared

We read each vendor's official pages on October 20, 2026. Birdeye facts come only from birdeye.com and support.birdeye.com, and we left out anything we could not confirm there. ZeusSEO facts come from our own product. We did not run side-by-side tests, and we have not used Birdeye as customers.

We are ZeusSEO, so we are biased. Check the sources below, and ask Birdeye for a current quote before you decide. Vendors change features and pricing often, so treat this page as a snapshot.
